Notes from the Section Secretary
There are two Herts DA events coming up, both organised by the Stevenage Section. Please support these if you can:

The AGM will be held at 2.30 on 11 Nov at Colney Heath Village Hall TL202060, please attend if you can. Among the business will be the appointment of a Section Secretary. If anyone would like to stand for this post, please let me know.
You may be interested to know that the South Bucks CTC have organised a Golden Beeches weekend 27/28 Oct. There will be organised rides both days. See www.southbuckscycling.org.uk for details.

The position with the Hargreaves Trophy at 2 Sept are as follows. This competition finishes at the end a this month, so there are 4 weeks left (or a max of 16 points still available):

Midweek Evening Rides
Evening cycle rides all start at 7.30pm from The War Memorial in St Peter's Street, St Albans. - near The Blacksmiths Arms. If you can't make the start you can always join us in the pub at around 8.30-9.00pm. We'll spend about an hour in the pub before returning home. Rides are about 10 - 15 miles long and are tailored to suit all abilities, so nobody gets left behind. We welcome all cyclists of all ages. Don't forget to bring your lights.

Come on a Thursday evening 8pm to 10:30pm at Village Hall, High Street, Colney Heath TL202060, only £1 with free coffee or tea. What a bargain! No meeting on Second Thursday of each month.
