Merry Christmas and a happy new year's cycling for 2007.

We are hoping to link up with the Eastern and Nortern Sections for some of our lunch stops early in the new year, so some lunch locations on this published programme may change - please keep an eye on the web site or check with the Section Secretary.

There is a job opportunity in cycling going which may be of interest. Sustrans are seeking to recruit a Bike It Officer, based in Luton. The responsiblity will include working with schools to promote cycling. Application details are from jobs@sustrans.org.uk.

Midweek Evening Rides

Evening cycle rides all start at 7.30pm from The War Memorial in St Peter's Street, St Albans. - near The Blacksmiths Arms. If you can't make the start you can always join us in the pub at around 8.30-9.00pm. We'll spend about an hour in the pub before returning home. Rides are about 10 - 15 miles long and are tailored to suit all abilities, so nobody gets left behind. We welcome all cyclists of all ages. Don't forget to bring your lights.
