HERTS NOTEBOOK

Notes from the Section Secretary

There are a couple of things to I'd like to draw your attention to. First the 100 reliability ride organised by Peter Southworth is held on Sunday 18th September and the DA photographic competition is held at the on 13th October - the subject is "Green".

On 13th November at 2:30pm at St.Marks Christian Centre, Colney Heath TL197062 is our AGM. Any motions for the AGM need to be submitted to the DA secretary (Brian Jackson) at least two full weeks in advance with a proposer and seconder, Brian Jackson will give you details if you ask him.

Also up for election at the AGM are all committee posts including St. Albans and Hatfield section secretary. If any of you would like to get (more) involved with the running of the section or DA please let me know at the earliest opportunity and I will do my best to answer any questions.

Ian Smith

Hargreaves Trophy

Points up to and including 14th August 2005

Richard is almost there; the competition ends on 25th September and he has a 19 point lead over Fred. With just six more Sundays to go it is unlikely that Fred can take the cup from Richard this year.
