Easter 2005

Judy Allfrey is organising an Easter trip to Thornham Magna Field Centre between Stowmarket and Diss. This should allow us to explore some attractive and quiet areas of Norfolk and Suffolk. Accommodation is in basic two bedded (bunk) rooms with evening meals in a restaurant opposite. Costs are £26 per person per night half board. The centre and cafe are highly recommended by Cambridge DA who went there last Easter. Further information on the centre and trip is available from Please book with Judy by Christmas.

HERTS NOTEBOOK

Notes from the Section Secretary

Nov 7th is the AGM of the club, I hope that you can come along and express your views. There are commitee posts 'up for grabs' so if you feel like helping in an official capacity please let me know. The core activities of our section are our Sunday rides, Midweek rides and, and the Clubroom. As current section secretary I have received a lot of help from Carol & Judy and from all volunteer rides leaders. If you can help with maintaining our rides program please contact me. Albert is always interested in hearing from individuals that can provide an interesting activity at the Clubroom - please contact him.

Ian Smith

Hargreaves Trophy

These are the final scores for the 2003 - 4 season. Fred is the clear Champion, congratulations to him, commiserations to all the runners up. He will be awarded the Hargreaves Cup to cherish for this coming year. I have started collecting the points for next year already, at present there is no clear leader...
